On May 10 Catherine Burnett, Art Department Chair for Pius XI Catholic High School in Milwaukee, was named the Private School Teacher of the Year. In a surprise ceremony on May 9, Chelsea Miller of Jefferson, an art teacher at Sullivan and West elementary schools in the Jefferson School District, was named Wisconsin's 2020 Elementary School Teacher of the Year by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
